With tears in eyes
You
Preferred to close your eyes.
Slowly I moved away not to hurt you again.
Turning back
When I once more saw you,
I realised, your closed eyes
Held the tears
That I forced you to
Bring in your eyes, you didnt want to.
There is no more coming back, I am far
From your words, your thoughts, your life.
Moving away had hurt you, coming back would probably
Hurt you harder.
