DeceitAn unnoticed flower
That bloomed in Spring
The sight of which
Gave your heart a pair of wings
But the Spring went away
The flower died down
The fragrance slowly faded
Nothing remained where it had grown
A gentle breeze
That whispered in your ear
And brought a smile for you
In that gloomy atmosphere
But the air is now still
There is silence everywhere
And even if you strain hard
There is nothing you can hear
A falling leaf
That fell in Autumn
To tell you softly
That Spring is sure to come
But Autumn never left
For the arrival of Spring
Must you still wait for me
To my memories must you cling
May be when you hear
Some faded distant noise
You try to find in them
My forgotten voice
May be when flowers bloom
As they spread their fragrance
You still think of me
That we meet again by chance
But it has been my wish
That I left you forever
With a thought in my mind
That I will return never
Not once will I smile
If our eyes again meet
All I have for you
Is thoughtless guile and deceit
Never once will I speak
To you a single word
Even if in your eyes
I see that rising flood
And I do not ask forgiveness
For this act of mine
But just hope that someday
I will be forgotten with time
