Lighting up the darkI look up to the vast sky above me
knowing that I will admire it again,
I stand in awe of their brilliance
staring quietly at the endless chain.
There is no corner,no unexplored space,
their beacon of light cannot fill
and if the world starts causing waves,
it's their devotion that makes it still.
They have been there since time started
to constantly illuminate the dark,
to fill our hearts with wonder
and to ignite the eternal spark.
Wherever we are,they guide us our way
when one burns out,another comes fast,
sometimes,they seem so close to us
like a long cherished dream from our past.
I have heard and realised,their magic works
and that is probably why God,the saviour,
simply created them to remind us
that somethings really go on forever.
