SearchWandering aimlessly
In a place unknown...
It's the search in my eyes
Which tells I'm alone.
The roads are vacant
And routes so long...
It's the dolor inside
That says something is wrong.
The hall is swarming,
There's thrill, there's cheer
On hearing my own beats,
I realize none is near.
What's it that I seek?
Who's it that I look for?
Amidst this show of exuberance,
One couldn't have asked for more.
And yet this plethora of energy,
Seems hollow to my soul
As emptiness spreads,
And surrounds me in whole.
I look again desparately,
Some-how, it's just not clear
These eyes betray me again,
As they hold no-one but a tear.
I tend to ponder deeper,
My mind continues to explore
And yes I find you finally,
All so pristine and pure.
That in every melody, I hear your voice,
In every sight I see your face
In the overflowing crowd or a gloomy solitude,
I only feel You, wherever I look and gaze.
You accompany me in my lonely walks,
Your words I listen, when there's none to talk
You sit beside me in these empty seats,
It's only your glow, which sparkles in the dark.
From dawn till dusk,
As the time moves on
I get more and more convinced
You're here - I'm not alone.
For be it the euphony of birds,
Or the beauty of a blossoming flower
They all seem to convey
You're with me, every minute, every hour.
To search for You outside,
Was so foolish of me...
When in every corner of my heart, My Dear !
It's only You, whom I see.
